1. Our Production
The Michele Bönan Interiors collection is the result of an entirely artisanal production process that enhances Italian manufacturing expertise and collaboration with highly specialized craftsmen. Furniture pieces are produced in Italy through artisanal processes that include careful material selection, hand-applied finishes, and quality control at every stage of production. Rugs are hand-knotted or hand-tufted using traditional techniques passed down over time. By purchasing Michele Bönan Interiors products, the Client declares to have read and fully accepted the sales conditions set forth in the Order Confirmation and/or on the website https://www.michelebonaninteriors.com/.
2. Prices
Each quotation issued is valid for thirty days from the date of issue. All prices are expressed in euros and are exclusive of VAT and/or applicable taxes. Prices do not include transportation costs, insurance, customs duties, or any import-related charges. Should payment be made in a currency other than euros, the amount will be calculated according to the exchange rate applied on the day the payment is received. For custom-made or bespoke items, the price may differ from the official price list and will therefore be determined and specified in the relevant order proposal.
3. Discounts
Any discounts are reserved exclusively for professionals operating in the interior design and furniture sector, as well as authorized resellers. MBI reserves the right to verify and approve company details prior to applying any such discount. Any special conditions agreed upon for specific projects shall be considered valid exclusively for the supply subject to the negotiation and shall not constitute a precedent for future orders. The economic conditions applied are not cumulative, are not transferable to other projects, and are limited in validity over time.
4. Payment Terms
For orders with a value lower than €25,000.00, full payment in advance is required. For orders exceeding this amount, a deposit of 50% of the total order value is required upon acceptance of the quotation, with the remaining balance to be paid prior to shipment. Production will begin only upon receipt of the payment as described above. Payments must be made via bank transfer, and any banking charges or currency exchange differences shall be borne by the Client.
5. Order Confirmation and Cancellation
An order shall be considered formally confirmed upon receipt of the payment in accordance with the agreed terms and of the signed Order Confirmation. Any request for modification may be submitted within seven days from order confirmation. After this period, any modification will be subject to feasibility verification and may incur additional costs. Articles 52 and 58 of the Italian Consumer Code do not apply to these supplies; instead, Article 59 letter C) of the same code shall apply. Order cancellation may be requested within seven days from confirmation of payment. After this period, the order shall be considered irrevocable.
6. Production
Standard production lead time is approximately sixteen weeks from order confirmation. For bespoke items or special workmanship, production times will be communicated specifically. As these are artisanal productions, minor variations in the purchased goods cannot be considered contractual non-compliance by Michele Bönan Interiors. Each Michele Bönan Interiors product is handcrafted and may present slight variations in color tone, wood grain, fabric texture, or rug weaving, as well as chromatic differences between samples and finished products. Such variations are intrinsic characteristics of the manufacturing process and shall not be considered defects.
7. Customization
Requests for bespoke or customized products will be evaluated by the production department in terms of technical feasibility, project coherence, and economic definition, in compliance with the brand’s quality standards. The Client is responsible for the accuracy of all measurements and technical specifications provided in written form at the time of order.
8. Shipping and Delivery
Delivery terms, including possible DAP or DDP conditions, will be defined in the order proposal and must be expressly accepted by the Client. Should shipment be entrusted to a carrier directly appointed by the Client, the Seller declines any responsibility for damages arising from transportation. Transit time will be estimated at the time of shipment and will remain valid for thirty days, subject to confirmation by the Client prior to shipment. A white-glove delivery service is available upon request. Any transport-related damage and related claims are governed by the Italian Consumer Code (Articles 63 and 133) and by the shipping company’s conditions and must be reported within five days of delivery. Upon receipt, the goods must be expressly accepted.
9. Storage
Goods may remain in Michele Bönan Interiors warehouses free of charge for a period not exceeding fifteen days from the completion of production. After this period, storage costs proportional to the volume of the goods will be applied. The Seller shall not be held responsible for any damages caused by unsuitable environmental conditions once the free storage period has expired.
10. Complaints and Warranty
Any damages or defects must be reported within five days from delivery and must be accompanied by detailed photographic documentation. Each report will be evaluated by the competent department in order to determine the most appropriate solution. The warranty period is one year for Consumers and thirty days for non-consumers from the date of delivery and covers only so-called original defects attributable to production. Damages resulting from obsolescence, improper maintenance, or improper use are excluded. Any intervention shall in any case be agreed upon and authorized in advance by the Seller.
11. Return Policy
Considering the artisanal nature of our products, any return requests will be subject to specific evaluation. If the goods are returned in perfect condition and in their original packaging, the Seller may evaluate the possibility of issuing a purchase credit. Return requests must be communicated within seven days from delivery. Custom-made or personalized products cannot under any circumstances be returned. No monetary refunds are provided.
12. Limitation of Liability
The Seller shall not be held responsible for delays or failures to perform due to force majeure or circumstances beyond its control.
13. Intellectual Property
All contents, drawings, renderings, layouts, designs, and collection products are the exclusive property of the Seller and are protected under applicable laws. Any reproduction, use, or distribution without prior authorization is strictly prohibited.
14. Privacy
Personal data processing is carried out in compliance with applicable legislation, including European regulations on personal data protection (GDPR).
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These conditions are governed by Italian law. For any dispute, the Court of Florence shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
